Holy Hannah! I had a great time. I was welcomed with open arms, even though I was running late. The Bok building is a gem, and being in the space is a ton of fun. I absolutely still am obsessed with my painting and can't get over how well it turned out. Jie is an amazing teacher, host and hang out. I am so glad my friend Lily invited me. I would 100% recommend everyone to go to one her workshops!!!

My friends dog passed and a drawing of Marley was the perfect gift for them. They loved the picture you draw of their dog so much.
I had you do one right after my dog died last year and it looks exactly like him. I have to get one more done by you of his brother.

The artist is so kind!

I have one cat who rarely plays with toys. When I bought the mini catnip toy, he immediately started playing with it. He continues to play with it as well as a few other catnip toys I bought from Char and Whiskers. I don’t know what kind of catnip this is but it works. He also loves the box that the items came in because of the scent. I tried to download a photo and video but each time, it would not upload.

It’s difficult to keep cats entertained and usually they walk away from most toys. The kicker toys have even enticed my one cat who never plays with anything. I also really appreciate that this is a local business and the owner even contacted me because the order was a little delayed, which was really sweet. I was not concerned at all. Can’t wait to order more items from this company.

I discovered this artist on the wall of PASE earlier this year, while there learning our beloved dog Koda had terminal cancer.

Soon we said goodbye, and thought of Char & Whiskers to help grieve and honor this beautiful and wonderful animal. They did not disappoint. These single-line portraits have helped us keep Koda’s memory. Thank you for this invaluable gift.

One Pet Single-Line Custom Portrait

On Nov 7 I came home to my cat not being able to move and looked/sounded like he was in a lot of pain. I had gone to PASE and rushed him there. That night I had to say good bye to my little man of 12 years. When I had gone back to get his ashes I noticed the art work on the walls and it was a dog and a cat. The two animals I had. I snapped the photo and went home to submit the photos of Luda which were all so different because of his crazy hair cuts and weird gestures I’d find him in. Getting the artwork they captured him perfectly and how he weirdly sat on his butt with his semi grumpy yet gentle stare. My only regret is that I didn’t get a size larger. Thank you for this keepsake. He currently sits next to the Christmas tree where i know he’d be if he was here.
